Art Specifications

All disc face and insert design submitted to Short Run CD must use the Short Run CD templates provided for free at: www.shortruncd.com/templates.htm

Artwork not submitted in Short Run CD templates will be converted at an additional cost.

Customer Content

The music, files, designs, data, documents and original creative works that you send to us will only be used for duplication of your project. We will not sell, share, display or use your CD or DVD contents in anyway.

Project Storage

Short Run CD will archive your project master for as long as possible. While every attempt will be made to preserve your project we cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or missing files.

User Agreement

By accepting the terms of Short Run CD services you warrant that you own or have permission to use any copyrighted material that you provide for the purpose of creating CDs and DVD's and that your are complying with the Short Run CD Intellectual Property Rights Policy.

Intellectual Property Rights Policy

We cannot inspect all of the content that customers provide. You are responsible for the content you provide for duplication and you agree to reimbursing us for any costs, expenses or liability we incur if you use our service in any way that violates any Canadian, US or international laws.

Under Canadian and US Copyright Law you cannot reproduce the copyrighted material of others without first obtaining permission from the copyright owner.

Short Run CD customers found in violation of our terms and services may have their services canceled without refund.

Return Policy

DVD and CD inserts and disc surface art use different printing technology so we cannot guarantee accurate color matching. Color settings differ from monitor to monitor and we cannot guarantee that colors you see on you screen will match the printed disc face and inserts. We do not refund orders for color matching issues.

We do provide refunds for any issues that result from manufacturing defects in the printing or burning. Please return the defective product to us after obtaining a Return Authorization Number from a Short Run CD Customer Care Representative. We cannot issue refunds or reprints after 30 days of the order shipping date.

While we do our best to check for errors in your project, mistakes that exist in the original content may be reproduced. This is not a manufacturing defect and we do not refund or reprint for errors in project authoring or design. We must stress that you are responsible for testing and checking every aspect of your project.

Compatibility

Our blank media and burning technology produces product compatible with the highest numbers of players possible at this time. Compatibility issues do occur with some players (especially older models) and we cannot guarantee that your CD or DVD will work on every device. A compatibility problem is not a manufacturing defect and we do not accept returns for non compatibility reasons.

Volume labels and CDTEXT may not always be duplicated. Enhanced, hybrid, multi-session projects need to be clearly identified. CDs or DVD's requiring special attention should be discussed with your Short Run CD Customer Care Representative.
